Use Custom Rom Boot Animations on Galaxy Y { Tutorial }

Today I'm going to show you how to make your Galaxy Y use custom boot animations on a stock ROM. Now most But not all custom ROMs have this enabled. However, stock ROMs cannot display your custom bootanimation just like that.

Requirements:

ROM Toolbox or any other Root Browser app

Boot Files.zip -download Link

Step 1:

1. After you have downloaded the Boot Files.zip file, extract it using WinRAR or 7zip

2. Transfer the 2 extracted files to your SD card wherever you want.

3. Start your Root Browser app and go to your SD card directory, select the 2 files and select either Copy or Move.

4. Go to the directory /system/bin and paste the 2 files in there.

5. Enjoy

Step 2:

Installing the custom Boot Animation:

1. Choose any custom boot animation you like (The file should be called bootanimation.zip)

2. As mentioned above, you need a Root Browser app again, so transfer the bootanimation.zip somewhere to your SD card and start your Root Browser app

3.Incase the file system is r/o permission, tap the Mount r/w button if needed. In ROM Toolbox you don't need to.

4. Copy the bootanimation.zip file to /system/media

5. Reboot and enjoy.

Steps to install this rom:

• Back up your system and charge yours phone battery at least 75%
• As you have already downloaded the Rom file "IceCreamBread-Apocalypse_v.4.5.zip" from the link provided above place it in the root directory of yours phone SD card and not inside any folder and turn your phone off.
• Now you have to boot your phone in Recovery Mode to boot in Recovery Mode press and hold Volume Up + Home Key + Power button together until you see blue screen.

The rom under development. Lots of bugs to fix but the visuals are amazing as you can see in the screenshots. It almost looks like Cyangenmod 9. Actually we are thinking that galaxy mini is a great lucky device because it get lots of developers.

STEP 1 : ROOTING GALAXY MINI 2.3.0

Your device must be 2.3 .o

STEP 2 : Installing CLOCKWORKMOD

Now you need to install clockworkmod on your galaxy mini/POP.

4. Use volume key to navigate and take it to install zip from sd card>choose zip from Sd card and select the rom file and select yes.

5. do the 4th step again and choose the gapps files.

6. Now reboot your device and enjoy the delicious jelly beans on your galaxy mini.
