How to Flash Any Stock ROM and Custom ROMs of Galaxy Y

Hi, here you can know about how to flash Stock ROM and Custom ROMs. Please read this first before flashing any ROM on your Galaxy Y. The methods I am going to mention will be 100% working and there are no changes of even a small bricking!Flashing Stock ROM:There are 3 methods for flashing Stock ROM are as follows:

1. Flash Stock ROM using PC
Difficulty: HardTime: 15 minutes with full prepartion; else 20 minutes
Type: Recommended (Safest method)

2. Flash Stock ROM using CWM Nandroid Backup
Difficulty: MediumTime: 10 minutes
Type: Not Recommended (Sometimes Soft Bricks)
Instructions: Link

3. Flash Stock ROM using CWM Recovery
Difficulty: EasyTime: 5 minutes
Type: Awesome Method; Neutral Recommendation

Flashing Custom ROMs:First download this zip files to your SD Card (not in any folder) to boot in CWM Recovery. Download Link (1.31 MB)

1. Download the above and neccesary ROM zip files to your SD Card (not in any folder) & switch off your phone.

2. Boot your phone in recovery mode by pressing Vol up + Power key + Home Button together at the same time.Touch is disabled, use Volume Keys for scrolling and home button for selection.

3. Select apply udate from sdcard.

4. Select Skin1980-GT-S5360 CWM.zip.Your phone will boot in ClockworkMod Recovery.

5. Select Wipe Data/reset.

6. Select Yes-Delete all users.

7. Select Wipe Cache Partition.

8. Select Yes-Delete all users.

9. Select Install zip from sdcard.

10. Select Choose zip from sdcard.

11. Select –ROM FILE.zip –.

12. Select Comfirm-Install ROM FILE.

13. Flashing will start and may last upto 10 minutes.

14. When you get the message Install from sdcard complete, select Reboot System Now.

15. Phone will restart & first boot may take upto 10 minutes.

ROM flased successfully!

IF YOU ARE FLASHING SOMETHING OTHER THAN ROMs LIKE THEMES ETC. FROM CWM RECOVERY THEN DO NOT WIPE ANYTHING!
