What is ODEX?
What is ODEX?
- The cache for each APK is contained separately in a .odex file, which loads into the virtual machine at the time of boot, thus speeding up boot times. (Odexed)
- .odex files whose supposed function is to save space. These ‘odex’ files are actually collections of parts of an application that are optimized before booting. Doing so speeds up the boot process, as it preloads part of an application. On the other hand, it also makes hacking those applications difficult because a part of the coding has already been extracted to another location before execution.

How to ODEX:
1st Step for Hype GM Final and DXLL Based Stock Roms:
o Download the Hyper GM Fixer.zip & CWM.zip place in root directory of Sdcard
o Reboot in Recovery mode by pressing vol up+home+Power button together once you enter recovery mode touch screen become function-less so use volume up and down to move up and down, home button for selection and power as back button.
o Now in recovery mode select "apply update from sdcard" and navigate to the root directory of sd card and select cwm file "cwm-madteam-galaxY.zip" this will take you to clockworkMod Recovery.
o Mount System , Data , Cache.
o Now select "install zip from sd" and then choose Hyper GM Fixer.zip and select yes.
o Reboot

o Now in recovery mode select "apply update from sdcard" and navigate to the root directory of sd card and select cwm file "cwm-madteam-galaxY.zip" this will take you to clockworkMod Recovery.
o Mount System , Data , Cache.
o Now select "install zip from sd" and then choose Rom Odexer.zip and select yes.
o Reboot
o Enjoy Your Super Fast and Stable Rom..
For other Custom Roms like MiniRom, Hyperion B2 and USSR just proceed to step 2.
