Hi Guys As you All Know i have already posted the full features & Screen shots of WP8-Monochromatic 7.1 MALEFICE for Galaxy Y [S-ROM][KERNEL] on my previous post and now we are proceed to next step How to install this on our Galaxy Y.
Warnings:
This S-Rom is only meant for Samsung galaxy y model gt-s5360. Use it at your own Risk we will not be held responsible for what ever happens to your device. The information provided here is only for instructional and educational purpose.
How to Flash :
FOR THOSE WHO HAVE:
- STOCK DXLF ROM
- OTHER CUSTOM ROMs
- MODIFIED STOCK ROM
o Flash Stock DXLF ROM through ODIN [How to Flash Stock DXLF ROM Via Odin Link]
o Download the latest version of monochromatic & CWM.zip place in root directory of Sdcard
o Reboot in Recovery mode by pressing vol up+home+Power button together once you enter recovery mode touch screen become function-less so use volume up and down to move up and down, home button for selection and power as back button.
o Now in recovery mode select "apply update from sdcard" and navigate to the root directory of sd card and select cwm file "cwm-bla_bla.zip" this will take you to clockworkMod Recovery.
o Now select "install zip from sd" and then choose monochromatic.zip and select yes.
o Reboot
Note : NO NEED FOR DATA/CACHE WIPE
FOR THOSE WHO HAVE:
- Previous Versions of Monochromatic
o Turn the phone completely off, When the phone is off press and hold VOLUME UP+CENTER KEY+POWER for 5-10 secs
o from stock recovery select "update from SD card"
o select "cwm_bla_bla.zip"
o now your phone will run the CWM, go to "install zip from SD"
o from there choose "choose zip from SDcard"
o navigate through the folder where you have saved the latest version of monochromatic
o select "yes", wait till it finishes, then reboot system
NOTE : NO NEED FOR DATA/CACHE WIPE
FOR ADVANCED USERS:
First Install MERRUK'S KERNEL 2.5 OVERCLOCK 1.2GHz STABLE & Then Flash the latest Monochromatic.
