!!! Warning !!! Warning !!! Warning !!! Guys !!!

By Zeus’ beard! Yes, here we go an another attempt on your Android. This time the latest form of the Zeus malicious malware goes by the name of Android Security Suite Premium and (as the sharper readers will have probably guessed already) comes masquerading as a premium security app. Cunning…
Reported by Kaspersky Lab , the app attempts to lure Google-OS users into downloading the Trojan and then steals incoming SMS messages before forwarding them to command-and-control servers run by the text ‘tea-leaves’ themselves; and depending on the apps users have installed on their Android phones, this could easily lead to the theft of their personal data.

According to Kaspersky the app installs a blue shield icon complete with fake activation code which, if used, connects to a series of servers, one of which was previously linked to the Zeus malware that attacked Android last year.
“It is also important to mention that these malicious apps are able to receive commands for uninstalling themselves, stealing system information and enabling/disabling the malicious applications,” said Kaspersky security guru Denis Maslennikov in a blog post.
Of course, as smug as the cyber crims may be at devising such a Trojan trick, they’ve clearly forgotten that those who choose Android over any other OS are not going to be fooled by such a predictable ploy! But, just in case you were, uninstall right now and we’ll say no more about it…
