We know that Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich is the latest operating system released by Google and Android 4.0 devices right now market are very less, this makes Funbook very interesting as the devices comes with pre-installed Android 4.0 OS. This will certainly boost Micromax tablet but HCL MeTab U1 just comes with Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS which is certainly not the best for tablet (Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS is for mobiles phones only).

We just loved Android 4.0 on the Funbook P300 tablet and its quite wonderful operating system for tablet.

HCL has different plans for different MeTab that they have launched and MeTab U1 their cheapest in the line doesn’t come out with any of the education content. Its higher version K12 comes with various course material from lower classes till 12th at Rs 3,500 extra for content. Comparatively Micromax has better plans for their content as it comes with Vriti marketplace for content where in users can download content and material from various publishers priced from Rs 50 till Rs 1,000 for each.
