Dear Friends Paid apps are most of the time at the best worth for the price, but sometimes just the hype makes people buy the applications which they didn’t want to. Many would want to check out what the app actually has, when they are paying an amount to purchase it. The price tag of $1 to $5 would usually not give people many thoughts but when they are to cash out something higher (there are even apps which are available for 3-digit figure amount), they would want to check out the features and see if the app is really worth paying or not.
There is a way how you could just try out the application before actually purchasing it. It would want you to pay for it initially but in the end you won’t waste your money when you didn’t like the app.
The basic idea behind this tip is asking for the refund after purchasing the app, and as its a limited time within which you could ask for the refund, you get around 10 minutes to check out what the app has got and whether you would want to keep it installed or want a refund.
Here is how you can try out the application before you buy:
With the new Google Android market named Google Play, you can either login to it through your desktop or through the mobile phone. So for trying out the paid Android app, you would need to purchase the app.
Once you have purchased the app, launch it and use it for the next 8-12 minutes to try out the various features and decide whether the app has something that could impress you.
If you wish not to use the application after trying it out, go to the My Apps section and search for the application which you wanted to get refund for. Open its app page and hit Refund button and the app would be uninstalled from the phone and you would get the refund for the same.
You would see the following message in your mail box once the app is uninstalled:
You have uninstalled the application from your phone. We have cancelled your order and you have not been charged.
Nothing to panic if your OS is asking you for the reason why you wanted to uninstall the application and wanted the refund, you could select any of the option, or even better “I’d rather not say”.
Sometimes risky that you could get problems in asking for a refund if the 15 minutes are crossed, or a bad time when the internet connection isn’t working fine but nevertheless worth trying rather than always purchasing the application or trying to find some reviews to decide whether to purchase the application.
